The ‘Baduy Outer’ indigenous community and ‘Baduy In’ who dreamed of the Lebak region, West Java has a tradition held every year called Seba. The Seba tradition held by the Baduy community as a form of gratitude after the harvest of earth results for a year so that it gives better life.
In the tradition, Baduy people have a trip to the city by bringing the earth’s results to be delivered to the head of the local government called ‘Bapak Gede’ as a form of sincerity and an overview expressed every year.
Baduy in wearing a white-white uniform, it comes to walking for approximately 12 hours of a distance of more than 100 kilometers, whereas Baduy Outside residents are allowed to ride a vehicle with a black color outfit.

When facing their archipelago and governors ask the government to protect the nature and conservation of the forest and enforce the law for the sake of the people’s peace and safety. After that they leave the built-in goods such as earth, rice, banana, red sugar, mapping and others.
In addition to being a silaturahmi event with the head of the region, Seba is also the opportunity to interact with the outside world. For residents of Baduy Outer, this opportunity they use also to see new clothing products in mal-mal, buy their mobile phones and accessories or simply walk around the city’s progress.
