Take care of "world window" the heritage of the Proklamator

The number of employees are preparing to carry out their duties as a library given a special mandate to take care of thousands of books in the Bung Karno Proklamator Library, Blitar, East Java. Bung Karno Proclamator library is a presidential library that includes in a special library type that is responsible for improving the love to Indonesian culture and civilization as well as is one of the Technical Execution Units (UPT) under the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia (the Indonesian National Library). The library inaugurated on July 3, 2004 by President Megawati Sukarnoputri was in one area with the tomb of the Bung Karno Proklamator on Jl. Kalasan No.1 Kota Blitar.

The Bung Karno Proklamator library saves 126.941 titles of books, or about 250.087 exemplar books, among which there are 5.301 exemplar rare collection book, four ancient manuscripts, and 7.735 exemplar special collection of karno bung.

In the special collection of the Bung Karno Proklamator Library contains the idea, ideas, ideals, and history of struggle as well as the richness of Bung Karno and the nation’s fighters in seizing and maintaining Indonesian independence. The existence is expected to be a motivation to aggravate the sense of nationalism and patriotism and improve the insight of the nationality of the success generation.
