LOVE WORKS

Compositions by Chopin, Schubert, Mozart, and several pop songs were heard from a room at Balai Kartini one night.

The concert ?Sharing the Strength of Love? was closed with a round of applause from the spectator, covered with infinite astonishment.

They had become the witness of the power of love.

JAKARTA.

JAKARTA.

It was a 21-year-old girl who held the concert. She suffered from Down Syndrome. She only had two fingers on each hand, and her legs did not have knee caps.

Despite that she was diagnosed with disabilities when she was still in her mother?s womb, her mother determined to raise the baby. The baby was given the name of Hee Ah Lee. It means an ever growing joy. Woo taught Hee piano when she was seven to strengthen her fingers. Then, piano became Hee?s daily life.

Started in Japan, 1996, with a concert ?The Dreaming Room?. Her Indonesian concert was her 25th.

With her piano performance, Hee shares her love, courage, and determination which Woo had thought since Hee was little, especially with those who live in desperation and suffering. Woo always stood by Hee backstage on every Hee performance with endless prayers.

When the performance was over, the mother and daughter walked to their room and prayed, before the mother gently kissed her daughter?s four fingers.

The answer of love and hope.
