The morning, the atmosphere of the Malundung Sea harbor, Tarakan, North Kalimantan, looks different than the days usually, a number of war vessels and patrols lean at that port. A number of armed soldiers with a twist position is on the boat, although the sky is protected and the rain rintic-rinth, but the soldiers remain vibrant.
They currently got the task of doing demonstration "Indomalphi Quick Response", Sailing Pass and Flying Pass in the waters of Tarakan as the sign of the Trilateral coordinated Maritime Patrol or "Trilateral Maritime Patrol Indomalphi" between three countries, Indonesia, Malaysia and Philippines.
The three countries agree to strengthen the cooperation of the state as an attempt to anticipate the widespread threats of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (NIIS), and maintain the peace of water in the border of three countries.

The cooperation was inaugurated above the main geladak KRI dr. Soeharso-990, attended the Minister of Defense Ryamizard Ryacudu accompanied Panglima TNI General TNI Gatot Nurmantyo, Minister of Defense Ryamizard N. Lorenza, and the Army Armed Malaysia General Tan Sri King Mohamed Affandi and Pangab Philippines General Eduardo M. Ano.
The government of Indonesia hopes that this joint patrol can be the beginning in improving the cooperation of defense in realizing security stability in the border area and can involve land and air elements by involving other ASEAN countries.
In the occasion also inaugurated the Maritime Komando Centre located in three locations namely Tarakan in Indonesia, Tawau in Malaysia and Bongao in the Philippines aimed at as a container to share information and coordinate to keep maritime security from the threat of the outside party.
