Buts is a traditional fabric of cotton yarn woven with a variety of embroidered motifs using gold or silver yarns. The beginning of Buts is only used in Lampung tribes for custom ceremony. Now the Buts fabric is handsome in a charming fashion work and can be used in every occasion as well as worn by various circles.
One centra craft of Buts Lampung fabric is in Katon State Village, Pesawaran Regency. In the village, women both old and young have traditionally harvested expertise. For the citizens of Katon, weave not only as a belaka routine. But for them is the ancestor’s heritage that should be kept his existence.
