Hawu is a cliff behind the Citatah 125 cliff that is also commonly called Gunung Kapur Singgalang. The cliff has a rare and beautiful natural arch. The overall arch is a hole in the side stone wall has a considerable size.
The width is about 30 meters and height is about 90 meters and hang above the wall as high as 30 meters from the stone mine road underneath. So natural arches located in Gunung Hawu made a fairly rare natural shape and one of the similar arches there in several National monuments in America, such as Natural Bridge, Virginia and Arches National Monument in Utah.
But unfortunately the surrounding mining activity causes problems in the preservation of the cliffs. The impact of mine and excavation activity affects the immediate decrease in biodiversity and animal and the loss of ecological values, erosion and sedimentation, decreased soil fertility rate and natural or land impact changes.
