Istiqlal, a name that may be unfamiliar for the Indonesian Muslim ummat, a mosque that stands a magnificent in the city of the Indonesian government center was built since 24 August 1951 and now the mosque became the center of the activity of Muslims in Jakarta and around. Entering this year’s Ramadan, a wide range of activities is held from a joint open event, tarawih sholat, serving, ramadhan’s message and other activities, all of which are wrapped in a sacred spiritual feel. In this mosque the Muslims are worshiping, snoring, snoring, sharing, interacting, seeking science, which is raised to seek God’s wisdom as well as approaching Him. The name of Istiqlal was taken from the Arabic language which means independence, as a disclosure of the Indonesian nation’s gratitude for independence given by God SWT. Ramadan of 1432 H/2011 M was also a special year for this home of God. In addition to the 6th anniversary of Indonesia’s independence, this 8th month, precisely August 24, 2011, Istiqlal has also been a half-century or a 50-year-old gene.
