Mangngaro is a procession of death ceremony conducted by Mamasa community in Nosu district, Mamasa Regency, West Sulawesi. The process begins by distributing leluhur services from a cube liang that shapes like Lumbung "Alang" and Goa Tanah or Batu Lokko.
Then the serviced was re-packed "Dibalun" which was started with the cerbau and pig cutting ceremony. The serviced of the ancestors released "Diaro" from the cube was then inaugurated in the flat ground around the rice (Ratte) for a night for the re-wrapping process before it was inserted back into auction or loco.
Mangngaro series is guarded from the construction of the tent, issued the serviced of a number of Liang then assembled and encountered at one place set by the family, then assembled to the already built tent.

In the evening, while repacking serviced leluhur, the males outside the tent conducting ritual Maâ€TMbadong, while the female inside the tent conducts ritual Maâ€TMsailo. On the next day the activity proceeds with the slaughter and pig. Last serviced was assembled to put back into Alang or Lokko liang.
